Hello, I'm Nat

So, a bit of backstory as to what got me doing what I love...
(Don't worry—if this is too much to read, just scroll down and watch the video instead!)
My grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in the early 2000s. He was the family photographer. My nan still has 88 photo albums that he filled, labelled, and even created a legend for.
When I was about eight years old, we visited a boat museum, and he, of course, brought his trusty Nikon with him. It was big, heavy, and shot on film! (I know, kids... film!) He held the weight of the camera while I pressed the shutter, and that's where my passion began.
Whenever my grandparents took me anywhere, the camera came too.
Roll on to just after his diagnosis. As his memories began to fade, and we slowly watched him fade with them, I realised something. What remained were the photographs.
Fast forward to his final years in a care home. He was mute for the last five to seven years of his illness, but there was one thing that would always bring him to life—his photo albums. It reminded me of all the times I'd sit beside him, flicking through them when he was healthy, listening to stories about the swan that stole his sandwich on the narrowboat or the time their dog chased a duck.
He told me on numerous occasions that all of his memories were frozen inside those photographs, and when he looked at them, they came back to life.
That's something that has stayed with me ever since.
So, not to bore you any further... that's why Garfield lives on my arm. Whenever I raise my camera, he helps me. He'll always be there, holding my camera with me.
Sadly, my grandad passed away a year before I got married. I know he would've photographed my wedding day, and he would've done an incredible job.
Unfortunately for me, it was 2013, and I trusted my sister-in-law's brother. He had absolutely no experience but told me he'd graduated from university. Now I realise that means SQUAT when it comes to photographing weddings!
The photos were awful.
Unflattering angles, poor editing (and I'm using the word "editing" very generously because he basically just turned a couple of photos black and white), most of them were overexposed, and when I finally received them, I was absolutely devastated.
Safe to say... I was horrified.
That experience gave me yet another reason why I'd never let another couple go through what I did. I paid him well, yet I remember him constantly sitting down during my reception while I had to ask him to get up and take photos.
It was one nightmare after another.
So, what I call the Garfield Guarantee is simple...
I don't do half measures.
Every single one of my couples gets the VIP treatment from beginning to end. Morning, noon, or night, you can message me with questions, TikToks you want to recreate, or just a random...
"AHHHH... I'M NEARLY GETTING MARRIED!"
I'm here for it all.
And the Garfield Guarantee means something else too...
Perfected images.
I hyper-fixate on every single photograph. Every waking moment after your wedding is spent perfecting your gallery from the moment I say goodbye at the end of your day.
So when I say...
I've got you... I'VE GOT YOU.
You won't look unflattering.
You won't receive poor-quality images.
And you can relax knowing you'll feel ZERO stress throughout the entire process.
Just a little FYI...
I'm a die-hard House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones fan, and I have a completely unhealthy obsession with Vikings!
So... if you're not a fan of big tattoos...
I'm probably not the photographer for you. 😊

Garfield was his obsession and he collected over 50 different Garfields.

Being normal is boring!!
